Movie buffs and gamers alike, this is the place for you. Cool Stuff, located in Timberlake Shopping Center in Virginia Beach, sells everything relating to almost any game system you can imagine, from the original Atari to the latest generation of gaming systems, including PlayStation3, Wii, and XBOX360. Cool Stuff buys, sells, and trades movies, games, and music, offering fair trade-in and retail prices.

The store, always well-staffed with courteous and knowledgeable employees, is a youth paradise, with posters ranging from Goodfellas to Superman Returns lining the walls. Four arcade machines dominate one section of the store. A life-sized plastic Spider-Man, dressed in a woman’s hat and beads, crowns the store’s imaginative decor, which features cartoon and anime characters as well as every e-Bay-type bobble head or figurine you’ve ever wanted.

The store is a veritable playland of entertainment. Three entire walls are filled with display cases and shelves, chockful of classics, rare finds, and every other game and movie imagineable. While there, my husband picked up Kameo on the XBOX360 for $3.99 and Bart Simpson Versus The Space Mutants for Nintendo for $4.99.
