park11.jpgIf you are walking on the boardwalk, you are bound to see the 15th street amusement park, and while this is no Great Adventures or Busch Garden, it is a place you might want stop in on with your kids being as it offers a fun little diversion during your trip. It is located on the boardwalk right across from the pier on 15th Ave in Virginia Beach’s Oceanfront. There is only one pier on the boardwalk, so it is hard to pass by once you get there. Even if you approach from Atlantic Avenue you should not have any trouble seeing the rides from the street. For your GPS or MapQuest the address is 233 15th St, Virginia Beach, VA 23451.

ferris.jpgThey have the Skyscraper, which is one of those rides where you get tossed one hundred and sixty five feet in the air at sixty five miles per hour; this one was fun and everyone who got on screamed quite a bit.  They also have the Hurricane, Music Express, Comic Storm, Inverter, and a host of other rides you will have to discover yourself or take a sneak peak by visiting the website they have.

funslide.jpgThe pricing for the rides varies, with the Skyscraper being the only ride that charges a fixed price of twenty dollars, the other rides you can purchase tickets to get on. They have all day wristbands available with different prices depending on the time you make your visit.

You can get more information on their website at http://http://www.virginiabeachamusementpark.com/index.html.
