It occurred to me that we settle for a partner that fits whoever we are at whatever stage of development we’re at. If we question who were with, perhaps that presents an opportunity to look inwardly and discover the truth; it really isn’t ever them, it’s you. It lies in you to make the changes that are needed in order to have the relationship you want.

"Promise me, you will not spend so much time treading water and trying to keep your head above the waves that you forget, truly forget, how much you have always loved to swim." That phrase has been turning over in my mind for days now.

There was a new club in town this week, and it goes by the name of Club Paradise. Actually, you've probably heard of the guy that runs it, "last name ever- first name greatest"; he goes by the name of Drizzy Drake, and he brought the hottest club known to man right here to Virginia Beach!

When I was a kid, one of my favorite summer tunes was Nat King Coles, "Lazy Hazy Crazy Days of Summer". I would listen to that song on repeat and dance around in my living room. Summer was always about picnics, beach time, good music, and good fun.

As I left the theater a few weeks ago after viewing the Avengers I let out a sigh... I looked over at my friend and said "We just need to find an Avenger and be with them!" We both laughed and headed home, but it left me thinking about it.

Saturday morning I woke up super early, 4 am early! I wanted to go back to sleep but I was wide awake, so I got up, got dressed, and headed down to the beach to watch the dolphins! It was a beautiful morning and I couldn't wait for what the rest of the day had in store for me.
