“SAVE THEIR CHRISTMAS” TOY DRIVE
'Tis the season of giving and this year the Meridian Group, Launch Interactive and Independent We Stand are teaming up with local businesses to give back to the toddlers of Head Start, a Norfolk based organization dedicated to early child development for low-income families.
Due to administrative issues, Head Start is unable to supply 1200+ gifts promised preschoolers this holiday season. We'd like your help to make sure that these kids still have a great holiday season and experience the joy of having a present to unwrap on Christmas morning.
HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- Most importantly, WE NEED TOYS! Even the smallest contribution will brighten a child's holiday.
- Most of the boys and girls are 3-5 years old and we need toys that are age-appropriate.
- Presents should be donated unwrapped, but wrapping paper donations are accepted and much appreciated!
- The deadline for donations is Dec. 15, but the sooner you can donate the better!
- Visit http://www.independentwestand.org/savetheirchristmas/ for a list of drop-off locations across Southeastern Hampton Roads where you can donate toys.
