Fontana man killed in crash on 10 Freeway

Quote:
WEST COVINA -- A Fontana man was killed in an early morning collision on the eastbound 10 Freeway that snarled traffic well into the morning commute.

David A. Young, 36, was driving a 2002 Ford Taurus at an "excessive speed'' around 5:30 a.m. when he attempted to pass another vehicle by driving onto the freeway's right shoulder, the California Highway Patrol said.

Instead, he lost control of the car and struck the guardrail, then veered back into traffic lanes. After colliding with a

Ford Ranger driven by Hugo A. Cedillo, 41, of La Puente, Young was thrown from the car and onto the roadway, the CHP said. Cedillo was not hurt.

Young was not wearing a seatbelt, authorities said
My first reaction was "hell yeah!" I see these jerks everyday trying to pass on the shoulder ar cutting in and out of traffic. It's about time one of these assholes got what he deserved. The only bad thing is that it tied up traffic this morning.
