Good news is - Nephew is doing great. His application has been accepted at the local police department and he's taking a test in late August. Hopefully it will work out for him. On a not so goo note - My mom has been diagnosed with some sort of mass or tumor in her abdomen. Blood tests indicate there's a good chance it's cancer. They want to do an exploratory laproscopy in the next week or so to see wha'ts going on and see if they can remove it. I'm very concerned about my Dad as he's not really able to take care of himself long term and if anythign would happen to my mom it would kill him - literally. They've been married 54 years. He'll be gone within a year if my mom goes first. So sis and I are very concerned and I guess we'll just have to wait and see how everything pans out.
