Churn out the morons
Parents are upset after a Texas middle school math teacher handed out a homework assignment to his sixth-grade class to find out the meaning of some text messaging abbreviations. Some of the 20 abbreviations translated to "keeping parents clueless" and "nude in front of the computer."
Alicia Byars, the parent of an 11-year-old student in the class at Jackson Middle School, wants the teacher fired. "I don't understand. I'm actually in shock," Byars said. "Now I'm faced to the situation 'what does this mean, Mommy?'
This is why our kids are coming out of school as complete morons who can't think for themselves. Teachers are more interested in teaching this crap than acutally providing them with an education.
