The Pursuit of Happyness
so I was recommended to see this movie since it correlates with my career focus. Anyone else see it?
I thought it was an excellent movie, Will Smith never lets me down. It takes place in 1981 where Smith, his kid, and his wife are renting an apartment. Smith sells bone density scanners while his wife works for a laundrymat. They start to run short on money due to the lack of scanners sold and their relationship starts to collapse. Smith runs into a guy driving a Ferrari and later on gets an internship on Wall Street. 1 in 20 of the interns becomes an employee for the company. The last highest score for an internee was a 96%, he didn't get in. Smith struggles between the wife leaving, theft of bone density scanners, not having a car or home anymore and simply feeding his kid while he's interning. At the end, obviously, he does get the job and you've got to feel great because you've seen him go through the worst of times like living in subway bathrooms... great movie
