So I'm covering electronics today at about 9:30pm. One of my cashiers walks out of the layaway bathroom right next to electronics and says, "hey, there's some kids (3) stealing in the rest room." So I scramble in and find noboy, however we did find a Nervana DVD case and some cold medicine pill boxes in the trash.
I decide to leave electronics and hunt the fukers down. We find them in the health and beauty area, prying open a box of hair color. When they see me, the guy stealing the hair color comes up and asks me, "does this hair color work?". How should I know, what moron asks that? And why did they go back to that department after just being there earlier? Another theif says, "you should dye your hair". Very casual, never met you, but apparently I'm you're friend now?
So I walk off and walkie management. Two respond very quickly and we find them in toys. The third theif has an open bag of candy in his hand. Fortunately for him, we find that he doesn't have cash to pay for it. Eventually a state trooper coes and takes them into personell. They admit to stealing the stuff, but I don't think management was able to find anything on them. I overheard the trooper talking to one of the kid's parents about juvinile (sp?) hall and court. Can you say morons?

Another theif today had a shopping cart half-filled with dvds. She goes back to layaway and tries to use the deactivator to get rid of the security tags. Only problem is, management thought ahead for those things! Our co-manager walks up behind her and asks if she needs help. She stumbles over her own words and pauses for a few seconds then asks to put $1000 worth of DVD's on layaway. After being told that layaway has been shutdown for several months (how does someone not know that, it's been on the news like 24/7), she ends up having to buy $100 worth of DVD's. We find out later she had a car in the front of the store waiting with the back down for a quick getaway. People are retarded, at least hide the dvds or go out a fire exit with a car next to it. Don't waste time deactivating and walking all the way back to the front where everyone can see you in plain view with a shopping cart full of dvds...it's not casual. Lol @ busted moron of the day
