The Progressive Country of Mexico

Mexico's government is using blow up dolls in a new TV campaign against sexual harassment in the workplace. The ads feature dolls, dressed as secretaries and maids, who have to put up with leering and groping from male colleagues. Officials say the aim of the campaign is to make clear that women are not sexual objects.

And after we finish shooting the ad, we'll poke her with a pin and watch her fly around the office and shrivel up on the light fixture.

She may not be a sexual object, but she's still a party girl.

Does anyone else see the irony in using a "Blow up Doll" to make the point that women aren't "sexual objects"?

Isn't that something like Ike Turner giving a Public Safety Announcement about Spousal Abuse?

Or Janet Reno in a hair commercial saying "don't hate me because I'm beautiful".
