What could be causing pages that require a login to not work? I try to use online banking and their main page will come up, but when I click on the login link it says the page can't be displayed. Same thing happens with ebay and yahoo mail. Main page comes up fine, but when i try to go to the login page it says the page can't be displayed.

never mind, found out it was the new fire wall that was supposed to be blocking that trojan and two key loggers I had. Stupid wall.

But how is it blocking a specific segment if it only blocks/filters/allows programs??

Are you running a firewall program? Which one? (I use McAfee adn might be able to help if that's what you're using)

Yep, McAffee firewall. My old computer died and wouldn't start but luckily the hard drive still had everything on it. So I installed the McAffee that was on the old hard drive on to teh new one.

Ok - you'll want to run it on "stealth" level.

You'll need to go to the advanced tab adn go to program permissions and set internet explorer to full access. You'll also need to enable cookies.
