Nah, the house didn't eat me. I've just been busy with work and getting the new pool finished. It's been up and running for a month now and no pool guy. I've been doing everything myself which isn't much. It's a salt water pool with a chlorine generator so all I really have to do is add 3qts of Muriatic Acid once a week to keep the PH down and the pool is good.

Bot, I'm still in that same house in Sunny Southern Kalifornia. So anything new with any of you?

Good news is - Nephew is doing great. His application has been accepted at the local police department and he's taking a test in late August. Hopefully it will work out for him. While he's physically OK - he's a little "lost" as far as what he wants to do with his life. This would give him purpose, direction and discipline. Iv'e got my fingers crossed.

On a not so goo note - My mom has been diagnosed with some sort of mass or tumor in her abdomen. Blood tests indicate there's a good chance it's cancer. They want to do an exploratory laproscopy in the next week or so to see wha'ts going on and see if they can remove it. I'm very concerned about my Dad as he's not really able to take care of himself long term and if anythign would happen to my mom it would kill him - literally. They've been married 54 years. He'll be gone within a year if my mom goes first. So sis and I are very concerned and I guess we'll just have to wait and see how everything pans out.
