I hate going to Walmart, and I don't think I'll be shopping there anytime soon. I ran up there to pick up some misc crap for the lawn, but they didn't have what I needed. So I hit the next nearest Walmart. They like to keep the A/C at a higher temp in the stores now. It was the same in both stores. Made me feel like I was slowly suffocating. And of course all of the people were there with their kids for back to school shopping. More spanish speaking than English. No thanks.

It's the same at all walmarts. They do it so people buy drinks and to save money, but it's not like stores don't make millions of dollars of profit each year already. They turn off the a/c completely at night when people are stocking. I wonder if they do it at the home office? bet not...

Walmart doesn't care about the associates or the customer, which will be the eventual fall of them. I can't wait until the million man Bentonville protest. Trying to go back, which is ironic

If they try to fire me because I feel like cutting my head off before it explodes I will kill them. I told them before I got hired in that I had migrains, it took me a while to get my paper work for them in and so they give me D day, but my manager says it has nothing to do with me as a person or a worker. Just needed to get my paper work in sooner. So I call today, first time I got a migrain in two weeks when I was having like three a week and tell them I can't come in because I've loaded myself with like a whole bottle of pills and I can't see straight, so I'm sure this will have lots of typos because I don't even care. But I feel like cutting my head off because it hurts so fucking badly, so if they try to fire me, I will fight it and I will be pissed. I'm sorry I can't control when I get a migrain and when I don't. And I can't control how hard they hit. If I could I wouldn't have them fuckers anymore. I'd rather come to work for a month straight without a day off then have one of these suicide inducers. /endrant

Trouble maker What job do you have that involves paperwork? Are you UPC or directs?

I would advise you to quit now while you have a chance. When they gave me my D-day due to a no call no show, that's when I put mine in. They tried to fire me last minute after the D-day, but I wouldn't sign the green sheet acknowledging termination since it was BS. It was my only no call in a year & a half and I did it because they kept understaffing me with only 2 weekend closing cashiers, and staffing only me to be closing CSM on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for 7 months when there should have at least been two CSMs. I thought they would enjoy the scrammble and indeed they did. Managers blame every staffing issue on 'the system'. The problem isn't the system when they can manually adjust the schedules at any point and simply hire people with realistic availability. Weekends off are like any other day of the week, everyone can't be off otherwise stores get slammed with all the people getting off of work on Friday plus the people who are off all weekend to shop.

Also suggest causing chaos before you leave. WalMart deserves it. A few friends of mine threw a taco at one of the A.Ms new truck, poured bubble bath in the fish tanks, put all the betas in one tank, made retarded pages in which management had to call the police, impersonated associates in other stores, poured liquid soap all over the isles, opened food and left it, posed as CSMs and told all the cashiers to take their breaks at the same time, and kicked balls at customers.

Yeah that's a smart way to get arrested. Sorry I know to many cops around here to be a dick. And I personally like my job, I just don't like one person. So I'm fine as long as they don't fire me. And the paper work was for my migrains. Because I told them about them before they even hired me. Took too long to get it in and got a D day. So because I had one two weeks after a D day they better not fire me. I can't control the migrains otherwise I wouldn't have them at all.
