Update on My Mom

It's Ovarian Cancer.

She had surgery Tuesday afternoon. They removed a grapefruit-sized tumor.

The good news is they said all the other organs looked good. They didn't do a liver biopsy because it looked so good. THey did take out some lymph nodes and did take other samples from where it looked like the tumor ruptured a while back.

So we're waiting for the results. Docs say she'll probably have Chemo - they're going to let her know once they have results back.

She's home from the hospital. So it ain't great news, but it could have been worse.
