The Bush administration said yesterday that it plans to start using the nation's most advanced spy technology for domestic purposes soon, rebuffing challenges by House Democrats over the idea's legal authority.


I knew this was coming. We are under constant surveillance.

I'm not a ciminal so I don't think they'll waste their time on me. If so I probably deserve it so no harm done...

That's just the point. You are not guilty of any crime, so why are you subject to surveillance?

Because they can? You wouldn't be able to stop me from spying on you...unless you were having a negative effect, which was applicable for a restraint order. Internal auditing is more efficient than external, just like in the corporate world. I think they know their boundaries and limits, if they anger people it won't last too long

Once they institute it, it will take hold and you will never get them to stop. We're becoming a watched nation. In the name of security, of course.

First they dumbed down the education system and standards so we could have a couple of generations of people who don't know any better.

Then they institute this shit and the people think it's OK and they're safer because of it.

It's damn sad that so many don't see what's wrong with this...
