Evading pursuit, I think

So I'm running down a major road in town and hit the gas to get past an old blue hair. Traffic was bad, so I had to pull out going with the flow of traffic and then wait and turn around at the next light. At the moment I took off to pass, a cop passes me going in the opposite direction. He then brakes and begins to turn around. By that time, I had already pulled into a parking lot and turned around heading back in the opposite direction. So he passes me going the other way. Maybe he was not after me, but it sure was coincidental. Hahaha, missed me!

I was going 80 in a 65 today traveling down I-70 and all of a sudden this cop comes out of nowhere in the horizontal emergency vehicle road that connects the east and west bound roads. So I hit the brakes a little thinking he's going to jump out in front of me, but end up mashing the pedal to the floor. He took some exit across from that connector road though...
