I think the govt needs to clearly define what they mean by "rich", and the % of citizens (yes that's right, tax paying citizens) that fall into that category. I think you'd find that it's the majority, or at least a healthy chunk of people (that's before taxes are taken out). The politicians can then refer to tax hikes for the rich, and the majority thinks that it's for the Warren Buffets of the world.
