Politicians are regularly caught lying during their campaigns in order to be elected. Then once in office, they turn around and do the opposite of what they promised. Shouldn't there be a warranty period for at least 1 year which forces them to stay committed to their campaign promises, otherwise there would be another election? I like the idea.

Maybe some other penalty like jail time if they fail to support their commitments.

We need to do away with the idea of professional politicians.

One therm for any political office, then you're done. You can't run for any other offices.

No more of this 40 years in congress bullshit.
