We're going to have to...

...do something about these damn oil companies. Posting 46% profit increases while us shmucks at the pump pay more and more. If the govt. had done something about all the mergers, there might have been more competition. I like the idea of targeting one oil company on a boycott and watch them start lowering their prices. Which would force the others to do the same. This is ridiculous. Oil is a utility at this point, and we're over the proverbial barrel (pun intended).

I'm not so sure it's a bad thing in the long run.

I think we've got to get away from oil for our energy. If for no other reason than to see the rich Arabs go belly up.

With the cost of gas this high, it in effect lowers the barrier to market for competing fuels. So maybe a tank of H won't seem like such a bad deal compared to gasoline...

What ever happened to Ethanol? Made from corn, runs clean. They just don't sell it anywhere.

The supply of Ethanol is drastically short compared to the legistalted demand.

So we know what that does to the price...
