So are they going to stop coming over the border ILLEGALY today? Are they going to stop using our medical facilities for FREE? Are they going to stop demanding that we change our laws to accomodate their illegal activity/behavior? Are they going to remain at the scene of all auto accidents they're involved in (cause) instead of fleeing? Are they going to lear English and stop demanding that we learn their language today?

Fuck no they aren't! Just like that ashole that hit me last year and ran. I could see that he was Mexican and I'd be willing to bet he was illegal. These people fail to understand one very important thing. The Bill they are protesting against isn't about immigrants. Atleast not legal ones. It's about the illegal ones who are crossing the boarder everyday. There are a lot of immigrants who went through legal means to be here. Yes, immigrants help build this country but this country was built on laws. If these immigrants want us to accept them with open arms then they need to show us that they can abide by our laws. Being in this country illegally does just the opposite. It shows all Americans that laws mean nothing to these people. They enter the country illegally, they drive in this country illegally without licenses or insurance and they often lie and use fake identification to work and get free medical aid illegally. What laws wont they break if they feel it helps them? These protester are basically saying that it's ok for these people to break our laws because they have rights as human beings. So, all of these ilegals who join street gangs are just trying to survive? They sell drugs to survive so we can't hold them accountable even if it's against the law? When you look at it from a broader perspective you can get a really good idea of how big this problem is.

I've had two instances at work where one of my trucks was hit and the driver - who looked Mexican/Latino ran off. One just sped off. The other by foot. I also know two people who have been in an auto accident where the mexican/latino looking driver fled thescene. Add that to your experience, Sterling and it's obvious what's happening.

It's interesting how they're trying to couch this as "Immigration Rights". What they are truly supporting is ILLEGAL Immigration. The whole concept of Immigration Rights is bogus. There's no such thing. Nobody has a right to Immigrate elsewhere with no due process. If they really think there is such a thing than maybe I should just walk into some house owned by Mexicans and make myself at home. Raid the fridge. Sleep in their beds. Stink up their bathroom with an ungodly uber-turd.

I come from a family of immagrants. LEGAL IMMIGRANTS. My relatives came here to BE AMERICAN. They didn't expect anyone to learn their language and their ways. They WANTED to be Americans. They didn't come here pregnant and then drop an anchor-baby and demand handouts. THey busted their ass and made something of themselves and this country.

Same here. Have friends who were involved in accidents with illegals and they fled. I have too many friends who waited years for their citizenship papers and then took the test and oath and became U.S. citizens. That's right, LEGAL U.S. citizens. This is a slap in their face. I say, start the roundup and get the illegals out now.

The INS should investigate every business that was closed today. If they didn't have enough employees - then they're probably hiring illegals.

If someone who worked for me said they were taking the day off, I'd tell them good luck and I hope their next boss is more understanding.
