Amazing how stupid our kids are becoming

A full 1/3 of the kids in high school and college could not pick out the state of Louisiana on a map. I could almost let that go, if it weren't for the Katrina disaster and thousands of hours of coverage by the media. We are churning out morons who are more concerned about what they wear than what they think.

Ignorance, at it's finest. It's the School Board's fault for not including "Current Events" as a curriculum choice.

It is the school board's fault for adopting every new education method in the world, except those that actually teach your child the things they need to know. They have removed the parent from the equation of raising the child (except for financially), and have replaced them with the school system as the parent. It's a disaster.

Now we have generations out there that are undereducated.

It's because we lowered our standards.

I'll say that again for those of us who have trouble with facts:

IT'S BECAUSE WE LOWERED OUR STANDARDS.

Inistead of a culture where we pull the underacheivers up and force them to reach, learn and work hard - we penalize the high acheivers through a myriad of socialistic programs and dogma.

Kruschev did EXACTLY what he said he'd do to us. IT WORKED for the most part.

That's right. Dumb down the people and give them other things to be concerned about, so that they won't question authority and the ridiculous decisions that come out of government. One world order here we come.
