Request to Oceana NAS
Can't your fighter jets stop accelerating over my building for a half-an-hour? My cat needs to eat and I need my windows open to dry my slippers. Besides, I like my windows open, anyways, because there's always a 10-20 MPH seabreeze and there's such a variety of birds that I like to listen to.
My cat needs to eat. I'm sure that there are babies who won't eat for the same reason. Because, every time they feel safe to eat, another pilot, training to fly a fighter-jet, flies over and tries to adjust their accelerator pedal as they come in for a landing, like an old lady trying to drive a standard-shift automobile for the first time.

Well, my slippers are wet because I washed them Sunday.
I didn't know that Oceana is 60-something years old. Virginia Beach isn't even that old. Maybe they shouldn't have let 450,000 people move in. The BRAC commission doesn't think the city is doing enough to curb devolopement, around the base, and wants them to condemn homes in the immediate "crash area", but the city won't, they have some new plan.

They're "Smart Dogs" that I picked out when I went Christmas shopping with my Mother. She, also, got me the robe in my avatar picture.
I don't live in the "immediate" crash area, but I live on the side of the base that the runway's on, so they circle the area and then come on their final descent, almost, directly above my house. Like say, you're watching a huge story on the news and it's a minute long. If a jet is gonna land, you have to play a game with the remote control. That's why one of my (brand-new) TV speakers are blown.
