Does this area really like Pink Floyd over Jimi Hendrix?

C'mon and vote in the NC-Double Bands tournament, on FM99.

Pink Floyd is beating Jimi Hendrix, meaning that those old white guys are favored over the most talented musician in history. A black guy.

So, maybe Uncle Sam wants Pink Floyd to win, but, c'mon, people, slavery ended centuries ago. It's time to give the black guy credit.

Pink Floyd over Jimi Hendrix makes me ashamed to be part of the music scene here in Virginia Beach.

Hurry up, I'm blaming you if he loses.

Well, it should be over, by now, but, one thing to remember.

U2's first album was in 1980. Where would they be had they ceased to exist in 1983?

Both are excellent. Aerosmith is outstanding.

Pink Floyd is Great (well anything prior to The Wall is). Jimmy Hendrix was one of the greatest rock and roll guitarists ever. I'm proud to have numerous albums and CDs from both in my collection. I still listen to both depending on what I feel like at the time.

But it's about time you Beigey's stop keeping us non-beiges down and recognize our contributions to the musical world.

Damn Beigeys!

Bad example, but you get my point.
