Study Says Road Rage May Be A Disease

A study funded by the U.S.government found that as many as 16 million people may be suffering from what doctors call "intermittent explosive disorder."

Not everyone agrees with researchers who say bad behavior behind the wheel is a disease and not just an attitude problem.

An agent at New York's Penn Station says it's not a clinical disorder -- it's just that, in his words, "people are idiots" who "don't care."

A New Jersey driver agrees. He says it's not a sickness when people "get stressed" and take it out on other drivers.

The study author says that means as much as seven percent of the population may be affected.

One New York City pedestrian says the "bottom line" is people "just need to get some more control over themselves."
