The pink padding went very well with the taupe floor. IT was accented by the chrome bars on the window in suck a way that said "This institution is your home". It made all visitors feel very welcome.

Well, McDonald's is pretty cheap.

The price is reasonable at Rudee's on the Inlet (see 'reviews' section). Mary's, on 17th Street (Virginia Beach Blvd.), between Arctic and Baltic Ave. (or, maybe, next block down), serves breakfast and lunch at cheap prices.

If you have a car, Pete & George's Steakhouse serves excellent breakfast & dinners, about a mile and 1/2 from Pacific Ave., west on Virginia Beach Blvd. (17th Street), left at First Colonial Rd. (2 lights after Birdneck Rd.), first right at light (Potters Rd.), then the road bends to the left and, immediately, on the left is a mini-mall with Pete & George's. They have very cheap prices.

Also, the diner, on the right, before you get to the intersection of VB Blvd. and First Colonial Rd. I like Pete & George's.
