Movie: Last Holiday
This movie has been in the theatres for some time and if you haven't gone to see it, now is the time.
We loved this movie. Queen Latifah has proven yet again that her and comedy go hand-in-glove. Her comedic timing doesn't miss a beat. Although LL Cool J is also featured in this movie, it's Latifah stealing your heart and winning your smiles. LL Cool who? If you don't laugh out loud watching this movie, you may not have a pulse. This movie is funny and uplifting -- and actually has a storyline. Queen Latifah plays a woman who has been diagnosed with a rare disease. She's led a conservative and cautious life. Upon hearing her news, she throws everything to the wind and really begins to enjoy life on the edge and to the fullest, doing everything she wanted to do before the diagnosis. This has personal meaning in my life as my wife was diagnosed with colon cancer two years ago at the ripe age of 28. She's doing great these days but going through such a life-changing event does change you. Watch the movie and let me know what you think. Steve

Hey Steve, I'm glad your wife is doing better now. I saw Last Holiday with a few friends and it was a great eye opener movie. I always try to live each day to the fullest (not as full as Queen Latifah did in the movie, lol) and appreciate everything. I tell others who let silly little things get them down know that there is no time for that but they all don't listen. I think this movie will help remind people that we are not immortal.

My sister just sent me that movie in the mail, she works for a P.R. firm.
I'll be checking it out. How many fingers am I holding up?

I watched it, passively, one and a quarter times and every time that I payed attention to it, I laughed.
