As summer officially starts later this month, the summer-fun activities in Virginia Beach are endless! Here are six things to do in and around Virginia Beach in June:

1. Harborfest

Harborfest runs the first full weekend in June in nearby Norfolk. The longest-running maritime event in the country, Norfolk Harborfest offers you the chance to see tall ships, a great fireworks show, the largest outdoor dock party in the Hampton Roads region, and tons of top-flight local, regional and national live entertainers and bands. This event lasts from June 8-10th. Harborfest is free and open to the public.

The "Sidekick" games will include sports like beach football, beach wrestling, beach lacrosse, and sand hockey. This is definitely a favorite beach weekend for sports lover of any kind! And then from only a few hundred feet, skim along the unspoiled, uninhabited barrier island beaches that line the Shore from Maryland to the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay. With an experienced pilot (over 20 years of flying!), you can trust that you will have a smooth flight.
