13th Annual Cherry Blossom Festival:
Held Saturday, April 6, 2019, from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM, at Red Wing Park in the Sandbridge area of Virginia Beach
You are invited to come celebrate peace and goodwill with the Sister Cities of Virginia Beach and Miyazaki, Japan. Activities will include dancing, music, art, and martial arts demonstrations. Call 757-437-2038 for more info or get the info here.
Food truck vendors include: Dong’s Food Truck, Funnel Cake Factory, Bumbling Bee, Ohana, Eastern Star, Road Dogs, Keep it Poppin.
Parking and admission is FREE!

East Coast She Crab Soup Classic:
Held Saturday, April 13, 2019, from 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM at 24th Street
This is a seafood competition among area restaurants. Guests can sample She Crab Soup from the competing restaurants and vote for a winner of the “People’s Choice” category. After paying the $20 admission, guests receive a sheet to be stamped at each station. Located downtown at 24th Street at the oceanfront in Virginia Beach. Click here to get your tickets.

Atlantic Coast Kite Festival:
Held Saturday and Sunday, May 4 - 5, 2019 near 17th Street
Kite fliers and spectators can experience a visual treat as kite enthusiasts of all ages decorate the beach sky. This popular events features activities and a “Best Kite Contest.” See more information about the Atlantic Coast Kite Festival.
Virginia International PAN Fest:
Held Friday and Saturday, May 10 -11, 2019 at 24th Street Park
This two-day festival will feature steel bands, ocean breezes, and great Caribbean food, turning the Virginia Beach oceanfront into an island paradise. Click here to see more about this Caribbean fest.
Beach Music Cruise-In:
Held Friday through Sunday, May 10 - 12, 2019 on the beach at 30th Street
Have a blast from the past with this one of a kind Virginia Beach event. This fun time will have an oldie's style feel for a huge show full of cars. Mostly antique cars and hot rods will be shown at this Beach Cruise-In.
A three-day series of free concerts is presented on a stage built right on the beach at 30th Street. Evening concerts on Friday give way to a full day of entertainment on Saturday and more daytime concerts on Sunday. All performances will be held at 30th Street on the beach.
The car show feature turns the boardwalk into a local version of “Route 66,” with cars and trucks from yesterday and today competing for trophies and Best in Show cash prizes.
16th Annual Neptune International Spring Wine Festival:
Held Saturday, May 11, 2019 in Virginia Beach at Neptune’s Park at 31st Street from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Monsters at the Beach:
Held Friday through Sunday, May 17 - 19, 2019 on the boardwalk between 4th and 8th Street
Monster Trucks scheduled to appear include Stone Crusher, Hooked, Big Foot, Quad Chaos, Dirt Crew, Jester, Krakken and Bad Company. Race activities also include amateur Tough Truck competitions with cash prizes! Learn more about this thrilling event here.
Pungo Strawberry Festival:
Held May 25 - 26, 2019 in Pungo, Virginia Beach

Salute to Summer:
Held Friday through Sunday, May 24 - 26, 2019 on the boardwalk
Salute to Summer in Virginia Beach is the best way to kick off the best season of all! This Virginia Beach concert weekend will provide music on three different stages along the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. If you're walking along the boardwalk, you're bound to fun into this event!
Patriotic Festival – A Celebration of Our Military:
Held Friday through Sunday, May 31 - June 2, 2019 on the boardwalk
This Virginia Beach festival will honor our armed forces personnel and their families with concerts, military displays and demonstrations, and an oceanfront air show featuring The Blue Angels. Past performers have been David Cook, Sam Hunt, Jason Aldeen, Gary Allan, Zac Brown Band, etc. Find the performers for the 2019 event here.
MOCA Boardwalk Art Show:
Held Thursday through Sunday, June 13 - 16, 2019 on the boardwalk
Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art hosts a one of a kind art show. This year will be the 64th year of the Boardwalk Art Show. See beautiful works of art like photography, painting, jewelry, print making, drawing, wood work, and so much more. There will be 300 artists from all over the country showcasing their work. Hardee's Latin Fest:
Held Friday through Sunday, June 21 - 22, 2019 at 24th Street Stage
This popular festival brings the Latin heat and flare to the 24th Street Stage in Virginia Beach. Live musical performances, delicious Latin foods, and salsa dancing is what you'll find at this Virginia Beach festival. There will salsa dancing lessons, Zumba classes, food trucks, and more. FunkFest Beach Party:
Held Saturday and Sunday, August 23 - 24, 2019 at 24th Street Stage
This Virginia Beach festival invites all funk music lovers to gather and jam at the 24th Street Stage and the beach. There will be food, unique merchandise for purchase, dance competitions, and of course jammin' tunes from live performers. Funkfest is free and open to the public. Click here for the event page.
American Music Festival:
Held Friday through Sunday, August 30 - September 1, 2019, at the Virginia Beach boardwalk
This 3 day festival will feature over 30 bands with the sounds of rock, jazz, R&B, and country! This is the largest outdoor music event on the East coast and the Atlantic Ocean provides the perfect backdrop. Food, beer, and merchandise heighten the festival feel. Bands have not yet been announced for this fest, but you'll see the American Music Festival 2019 performers here when they are announced!
