Hampton Roads International Auto Show 2022

This event attracts many people from all over the region, making it a top thing to do in Virginia Beach!

It will be held at the Virginia Beach Convention Center.

Time and Dates

Friday, January 7th: 10 am - 9 pm

Saturday, January 8th: 10 am - 9 pm

Sunday, January 9th: 10 am - 6 pm

Check out all of the latest automobiles, the old classics, and the innovative vehicles all under one roof.

Bring the family for this VA Beach event, it’s family-friendly! 

Ticket Information

Parking: The Virginia Beach Convention Center has 2,000 parking spaces on site. Parking is free to all exhibitors and attendees.

There is no charge for children 12 and under to attend.  

The price for the military with valid ID and senior citizens is $9.

Tidewater RV Show 2022

Another fun thing to do in Virginia Beach to enjoy if you are a vehicle lover is the Tidewater RV Show. Here you will find all of the trailers, campers, and accessories you want for your RV needs. You’ll also learn about some awesome travel destinations.

This RV show is a good place to meet people with similar hobbies! Just like the Hampton Roads International Auto Show, the Tidewater RV Show is located at the Virginia Beach Convention Center for a full three days, Friday, January 17th - Sunday, January 19th.

Time and Dates

Friday, January 14th: 12 noon - 8 pm

Saturday, January 15th: 10 am - 8 pm 

Sunday, January 16th: 11 am - 5 pm 

Ticket Information

$10 for adults

$5 for children ages 3 - 12.

Children 2 and under get in free.

Winter Wildlife Festival 2022 - Virtual and In-Person

This festival allows an interactive approach to learning about the animals in our area! You will be able to venture out to see the animals in their natural habitat.

Find yourself learning about seals, an array of birds, and other animals that call the bay their home.

Locations vary depending on what workshops are being attended. More information on that here!

Time and Dates

Times vary according to for each workshop but range between these hours:

Friday, January 28th: 8 am - 8:30 pm

Saturday, January 29th: 8 am - 9 pm

Sunday, January 30th: 8 am - 4 pm

Ticket Information

Ticket pricing varies depending on what workshops are being attended. 

 

Whale Watching

Although humans are not particularly fond of this cold weather that brings the cold water, it's absolutely perfect for whales! The whales love cooler water, and it's easy to spot these beautiful creatures in the winter. So bundle up, grab your binoculars, and stake out at the oceanfront to spot some whales!
