This Virginia Beach event is bi-coastal celebrating the culture of Street/Surf/Skate artists. California Locos will be in Virginia Beach as well as Venice Beach.

"The CALIFORNIA LOCOS—five pioneering Los Angeles artists whose roots are in graffiti, surf, skate, punk rock, as well as the contemporary artworld—bring their edgy, sun-soaked styles to an even larger audience with new works for a pair of week-long bicoastal summer shows, while launching the CALIFORNIA LOCOS skateboards by DUSTERS CALIFORNIA, led by creative director Nano Nobrega and premiering the documentary Crazy World Ain’t It—The Life and Times of John Van Hamersveld. In addition, a new collaborative poster design by John Van Hamersveld and Dave Tourjé will be released." - from PRESS @ webpage.

This event is a whole WEEK long to celebrate an amazing style and way of life. There will be exhibits of artwork and music at Studio 17, which is located at 536 Virginia Beach Blvd. Be here to embrace and learn more about the Skate, Surf, and Street culture. Studio 17 will have the California Locos exhibits open starting on August 13th at 7:00 PM.
