The Polar Plunge is an annual Virginia Beach event that attracts people from all over the country! This popular event is held as a charity event to benefit the Special Olympics. The Polar Plunge is not just an icy dip in the ocean! There is much more fun to be had. Participate in the Cool School Challenge which is for students and teachers. The Cool School Challenge will take place on Friday. The Polar 4 Miler is a fun run along the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. The 1 Mile Dash and Splash is for the young ones or for those who don't want too much of a challenge. Then, on Saturday, February 4th, the big Polar Plunge will take place! Each participant will pay $100 to join this icy venture! The time that the Polar Plunge will happen is at 10:30 AM. This VA Beach event has been in action for 25 years, and is still going strong today!
