Chinese Restaurants in Virginia Beach

If you're coming to Va Beach, you're going to find friendly locals, warm weather and super sandy beaches. When your stomach starts growling and you're in the mood for Asian cuisine, look no further then our best Chinese restaurants. Chinese food is usually grouped into eight main categories: Anhui, Cantonese, Fujian, Hunan, Jiangsu, Shandong, Sichuan, and Zhejiang. Most authentic dishes are comprised of a combination of rice, noodles, soybeans, wheat, vegetables, herbs, and seasonings – while traditionally limiting meat. My personal favorites are Cantonese and Hunan.

The following Chinese restaurants in Virginia Beach are 5-star rated for their food, friendly service, and atmosphere. Many of them are located close to the Virginia Beach oceanfront, giving you a short drive to find lunch or dinner after you're done catching those waves and rays. Try these local hot spots if you need to give your taste buds some tasty food. They are all local favorites.

Jada Villa Chinese Restaurant is on the top of the list. It's located at 353 Independence Boulevard and Jeanne Street—open 4PM to 1:30AM Monday through Friday and 11AM to 1:30AM on the weekend. One of the best foods here is the salty and spicy pork chops. It's a flavor fest in your mouth—full of spices and the best ingredients anywhere around. The wait staff is on their A-game. They are fast, friendly, and attentive to all their guests. To cater to everyone they have two different menus. They have the “American Chinese Menu” and the “Cantonese Chinese Menu” for the truly bold American explorer.

Next up on the list is Peter Chang China Grill, located at 3364 Princess Anne Road. They're open from 11AM to 10PM daily. The staff has a reputation of caring for their guests. The waiters are attentive, friendly and quick to the table. They have an exceptional menu. Among their menu items are appetizers numbing tofu skin and dry-cooked eggplant that get high remarks by customers. Peter Chang is also well known. He is among one of the top Chinese chefs in America, having been seen on the Food Network.

P.F. Chang's Chinese restaurant is also a hot spot you want to see. Located at 4551 Virginia Beach Boulevard and Central Park Avenue, this local restaurant is known for its food and its atmosphere. Being a well known brand, we highly recommend you make a reservation to avoid a long wait. That's how wonderful their food is. They are always busy. They have lettuce wraps for the healthy eaters, as well as a traditional Chinese menu. In addition, the restaurant is equipped with a full bar to serve its guests. Among the top menu items—the sea bass and the Mongolian beef. Customers rave about this restaurant and can't wait until their next visit.

Finally, we move onto The Imperial Palace. It's located at 4878 Princess Anne Road. The lettuce wraps are among one of the top menu items, while the chicken is not heavy in the sauce. It's not an overly expensive restaurant, as well, which makes this restaurant perfect for family dining. The staff is attentive while making the experience comfortable for their guests. The menu seems to be similar to be similar to those menus you might find at a Chinese fast food restaurant, however, there is a piano player there which boosts up the atmosphere.

If you're staying a few days, you could try them all. Don't see your favorite restaurant listed above? Please e-mail us at info@virginiabeach.com and we'll look to add them.
